Logan wolverine In World War II (D.I.Y Background Set)

In the past few years, World War II has become a fertile dumping ground for Logan’s pre-Wolverine escapades. While entertaining, the sheer number of stories results in a pretty hectic schedule across the European and Pacific theaters, usually pitting Logan against Nazis but at times crossing the line into some fairly uncomfortable territory. So as Logan ends his relationship with Ogun in Japan and as Europe moves inexorably towards conflict, we find the focus of this chronology still in the Far East researching the Hand…

Friday The 13th - 1980

This Friday the 13th 25th Anniversary action figure box set has been produced by NECA in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the classic Friday the 13th horror film franchise. This amazing Friday the 13th boxed set features the action figure debut of Pamela Voorhees (with machete, knife & sheath, axe, bow & arrows) and Sack-Head Jason (with removable mask and alternate head, pick-axe, pitch fork, machete)! The centerpiece of the set is Jason's macabre shrine to his dead mother, featuring her corpse(plus those of some young victims)! The figure bases can combine with the shrine's base to create a unique scene! Window box packaging.
Combining the "best of the worst" of the first two Friday the 13th films, the 25th Anniversary Boxed Set features Pamela and Jason Voorhees together. Pamela and Jason share the genetic disposition of being great at doing absolutely horrible things to people. With a creative outlook when it comes to death and murder, these two have performed "arterial art" for the last quarter of a century. With a shrine to his mother, Jason stands looking as he does in Friday the 13th Part 2, sack over his head and all. How could Jason be complete, of course, if he didn't come with an alternate head, that only his mother could love? Before Jason took to killing, his mother was the resident serial killer, as she was getting revenge for the son she thought dead. Though she may have never been able to see him grow up, in this set they look right at home with each other. Since the base pieces are detachable, you can pose them together or separately.

The Art Of Medusa

The medusa was an ugly creature. Let's have a look at how she came into existance, for she wasn't always that ugly... Again, the Gods played their role. The Medusa was the daughter of Phorkys and Keto, the children of Gaia (Earth) and Okeanos (Ocean). She was one of the three sisters known as the Gorgons. The other two sisters were Sthenno and Euryale. Medusa was the only mortal out of the three. She was once very beautiful and lived far in the north were the sun didn't visit. Being very curious, she wanted to see the sun, and asked the Goddess Athena for permission to visit the south. Athena refused to
allow her to visit. The medusa got angry and dared to say that Athena hadn't given her permission because she was jealous of her beauty. that was it! Athena was angered and punished her by turning her hair into snakes and cursing her by making her so ugly that who ever lookes at her eyes would turn into stone.
